Terms and conditions
We are a non-theatrical Film projection service who provide private film viewing of our own original films and extracts from commercial films that are in the Public Domain such as film trailers. To the most part we cannot show full length films unless the venue has an appropriate licence such as those issued by “FilmBank” and "MPLC". Education sites such as schools may be exempt from some of these rules.
We advise you make your own enquires with appropriate bodies before booking. We accept the bookings on the understanding you have done this and have a clear understanding of what a non-theatrical film show is. For example the show cannot be advertised to the public and tickets cannot be sold. Some of our films are over 70 years old so are out of copyright. We advise all customers to visit www.mplc.com website.
We also have a liability licence for our staff while on your premises. All are equipment is safety checked. We only use commercial grade projection stands such as unicol and fire retardent black out fabric.
With vintage projection equipment it can sometimes fail during a show such as a bulb going. For this reason we always take two projectors to every show so have a back-up but the programme sequence may need to be changed without notice.
For film projection some black-out is required so curtains will need to be closed and main lights off- it is the responsibility of the on site manager to see fire exits and gangways are kept clear and visable and a staff member is always on site. Any show that is cancelled within less than 24 hours notice is non-refundable.
If you are unhappy with a show please contact us asap and we do our best to resolve any issues.
